Arctic Slope Land & Resources Scholarship
Arctic Slope Regional Corporation Land Department offers a scholarship program to provide financial support to selected ASRC shareholders that would like to earn a college degree in natural resource development. Scholarship moneys will be administered through the Arctic Education Foundation and will be granted for tuition and certain other expenses to students who qualify, and are accepted into a full-time four-year degree program in geology, petroleum engineering or mineral engineering. In addition to financial support, ASRC Land Department will mentor scholarship recipients and assist in providing degree relates summer employment within ASRC or the Alaska mining and petroleum industry. Following completion of the program, employment within the ASRC Land Department or an ASRC subsidiary may be available.

Selection and Eligibility
ASRC shareholders will be selected to receive scholarships for each year to complete undergraduate or graduate degrees at any accredited university in or outside of Alaska. Participants will be selected by a group of individuals from ASRC Land Department, Arctic Education Foundation, North Slope Borough, and the Alaska petroleum and mining industry.
To be eligible to participate in the program, applicants must be ASRC shareholders, should have strong math and science skills, and be eligible for acceptance, or currently enrolled in a four-year full-time, resource-related degree program. Applicants must express a desire and willingness to work at ASRC, an ASRC subsidiary or within the Alaskan petroleum or mining industry following graduation.
