John Hopson Jr. serves as a director on the board for Arctic Slope Regional Corporation.
John serves as Wainwright’s Commissioner to the Alaska Eskimo Whaling Commission (AEWC), and as Chairman of the AEWC. He also served as president of the North Slope Borough Assembly from 2016-2019.
John was born and raised in Wainwright.
