Roxanne Brower serves as the senior vice president of shareholder & community engagement for Arctic Slope Regional Corporation, where she is responsible for fostering strong relationships and creating programs that benefit ASRC shareholders in our Iñupiaq communities.
Roxanne is a tribal citizen of the Native Village of Barrow and the Iñupiat Community of the Arctic Slope as well as a shareholder of ASRC and Ukpeaġvik Iñupiat Corporation. Her Iñupiaq name is Aaluk.
Her journey with ASRC began in 2016 as the director of shareholder & community programs, a role in which she excelled and subsequently was promoted to senior director in 2019. Her leadership has been characterized by her commitment to enhancing the lives of the shareholders and the strength of the communities they reside in.
In addition to her corporate responsibilities, Roxanne has been an active member of the Iḷisaġvik College Board of Trustees since 2014, contributing her expertise and insights as secretary from 2015 to 2019. Her passion for education also led her to serve on the North Slope Borough School District Board of Education from 2016 to 2020, including a term as president from 2017 to 2020. She also served as a member of the Alaska Association of School Boards from 2018 to 2019.
A graduate of Barrow High School, Roxanne lives in Utqiaġvik, Alaska, with her family. She is a member of the Presbyterian Church who finds joy in sewing, camping, and cherishing moments spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
