Sarah Shine

Sarah Shine serves as senior vice president and general counsel for Arctic Slope Regional Corporation. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the company’s litigation, advising on a variety of legal matters, and partnering with senior leadership to support the businesses’ strategic plans to best serve ASRC’s shareholders. 

Sarah previously served as associate general counsel for ASRC as well as senior HR director & senior corporate counsel. Before joining ASRC’s corporate team, she served as associate general counsel for ASRC Energy Services. In each role, Sarah advised on a diverse and complex range of legal issues, managed company litigation, and provided impactful trainings to ASRC employees.

Born in Anchorage and raised in Valdez, Sarah started her legal career as a judicial clerk for the Eastern District of California before returning to Alaska in 2011. Sarah spent five years in private practice at Perkins Coie LLP where she continued her work in a range of labor and employment and litigation matters until she joined the ASRC family in 2016.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Cornell University and a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis School of Law. In 2022, she was recognized by the Alaska Journal of Commerce as a Top Forty Under 40 award recipient.

Sarah currently resides in Anchorage with her husband and their two children.
