Arctic Slope Regional Corporation Announces Industrial Services Acquisition

Arctic Slope Regional Corporation is pleased to announce the acquisition of Northwest Demolition & Dismantling (“NWDD”) by our wholly-owned subsidiary ASRC Industrial Services, LLC (“AIS”).

The company is headquartered in Tigard, Oregon, and provides services throughout the United States, Canada, and the Pacific islands. NWDD has over 60 years in demolition, decommissioning, environmental remediation and specialty consulting services. The company will join AIS’s Remediation and Response Services (“RRS”) operating group.

Since the company was founded in 1954, NWDD has differentiated itself from competitors via the quality of its services and ability to take on and master complex, large-scale projects. NWDD specializes in industrial demolition, nuclear decommissioning and remote location remediation projects. The company serves a variety of end markets, focusing in the industrial sector (mining & metals, oil & gas, nuclear), government & military facilities and commercial customers.

“On behalf of ASRC’s board of directors, I am pleased to welcome the management team and talented employees of Northwest Demolition and Dismantling to the ASRC family of companies,” said Rex A. Rock Sr., president and CEO of ASRC. “I am confident the management teams of AIS and NWDD will work together to sustain the company’s success. As the most recent acquisition we have made in pursuit of the AIS strategy initiated in September 2016, we look forward to their contribution in providing enduring benefits to ASRC’s shareholders.”

“Adding Northwest Demolition and Dismantling to AIS’s RRS group greatly expands our capabilities in the specialty demolition market and is further evidence of ASRC’s commitment to pursuing the AIS vision,” said Brent Renfrew, president and CEO of AIS. “The AIS management team appreciates ASRC’s support and looks forward to working with the team at NWDD to build on the Company’s well-earned reputation as a value-added service provider. In addition, we look forward to providing additional opportunities for the talented workforce of NWDD and bringing additional services to customers in new markets.”

“This is a great opportunity for Northwest Demolition and Dismantling to continue the legacy of safety and excellence for our customers and our employees,” said Richard Wayper, the company’s president. “I look forward to working with the AIS and ASRC management teams to continue growing NWDD and am excited by the new opportunities this chapter brings to both our employees and our customers.”

D.A. Davidson served as exclusive financial advisor to Northwest Demolition and Dismantling during the transaction.
