Arctic Slope Regional Corporation is pleased to once again be recognized by the Alaska State Chamber of Commerce, Alaska Business magazine and local business leaders as the top Alaskan-owned and operated corporation. This is the 26th consecutive year that ASRC has ranked #1 on the “Top 49ers List”, based the prior year’s gross revenues. The list was released today during the 2020 Alaska Business Top 49ers Virtual Presentation, held online due to COVID-19 concerns. The full list of the Top 49ers can be seen in the October 2020 edition of Alaska Business magazine.
“We came off of a very strong year in 2019 and are now focused on mitigating the impacts of a challenging new year,” said Rex A. Rock Sr., ASRC president and CEO. “The effects of the COVID-19 shutdown, combined with a drop in North Slope crude oil prices, have forced ASRC to slow its rate of growth, but I’m confident we’ll weather this storm. I congratulate the other locally-owned and operated businesses on this list and wish them continued success as we get through this challenging time together.”
In 2019 ASRC’s revenues came in at nearly $3.8 billion. ASRC has six major business segments, to include government contract services, petroleum refining and marketing, energy support services, industrial services, construction and resource development.
